Hi guys, so a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get a place at the Lush Leicester Christmas Event as a blogger! I was so thrilled when I saw I'd been chosen to attend and was eager to see the Christmas and halloween range and some new products (and buy some too). Getting to the event ended up being a little bit of a faff as I also had to enrol on my new college course on the same evening (more on that soon). So I was late for my planned train and got to the event slightly late, whoops. But, I got there in the end and as I stepped in the door I was greeted by the lovely staff, Christmas music playing and of course the most incredible scents. I also got a Lush Lanyard with MY NAME ON IT. DAY = MADE, I will treasure it forever.

As soon as I arrived some of us went upstairs in the shop and got to take part in making a couple of the products. We made Big Blue bath bomb and Creamy Candy bubble bar, it was so cool to see the process that goes into making the products and knowing that the products are all made by hand makes them even more special. Some thing that I love about Lush is their amazing packaging. There are SO MANY options for Christmas gifts along with a 12 Days of Christmas box full of bubble bars and bath bombs. All wrapped in pretty packaging tied up with a pretty little bow.

As well as these super cute gift ideas the downstairs is full from top to bottom with so many products from makeup to face masks. All the Christmas products are sitting pretty together on the right hand side of the store and I just couldn't resist picking up some for myself. I'll be sharing what I brought in my next post so look out for that in the next couple of days if you'd like to know what I picked up.
As the event drew to a close we said goodbye to the lovely staff and were handed goodie bags for attending. Thank you so much Lush Leicester for such an amazing event, for showing us lots of product demos and for the generous goodie bag too, here's what's inside! We were given lots of testers for products I've never used before, some soap and a butter bear which has to be one of my favourite scents from Lush. You can also see the two masterpieces that I created too.
It was such a lovely event and I'll definitely be returning to this store to pick up some more products soon. I'll be posting my Lush haul on Tuesday so if you'd like to see that remember to pop back then :) Thanks for reading and thank you Lush Leicester for a super lovely event.
